Ok so I have the honor of trying out Playstation Now Beta, and I have only played one game so far... BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.The way Now works is basically an online rental streaming service. You select your choice as you would from any online streaming service, only with now you have to choose a rental duration. The rental duration goes from 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days. Even though I have high speed internet, I could still see a dramatic drop in quality and playability in the game as I played. This drop in quality was also confirmed on the screen in the upper right hand corner. Now BlazBlue is a 2D fighting game and from the looks of things, it is not the best game to play on Now at the moment. The significant slowdown, inconsistent audio, and occasional drop in visual quality leaves something to be desired. But overall, I still had fun.
